Statement by the president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind Maulana Arshad Madani

New Delhi – Every mosque is at its original site. No temples are destroyed to build mosques. We have no problem with the survey because it will prove that a mosque had existed earlier, stated Maulana Arshad Madani, president of Jamiat Ulema-e-Hind in a press conference.
He added further, this is our country. Supreme Court belongs to us. We will abide by the judgement of the Court. There was some solace for Muslims under the Act of Religious Places of Worship in 1991, even then the issue of Gyanvapi has reached the Court. All political parties are silent. They should have supported us because they had made this law.
