Islamabad (Pakistan) – The three-time former Prime Minister of Pakistan Nawaz Sharif said that improving ties with India, Afghanistan, and Iran, and strengthening ties with China was on his party Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N)’s agenda.
“I should be told why I was ousted in 1993 and 1999. When I opposed the Kargil plan saying it should not happen… I was ousted (by Gen Pervez Musharraf) And later what I said proved right,” Sharif said.
Regarding former Prime Minister Imran Khan, Sharif said that during Imran Khan’s Government, Pakistan’s economy suffered a lot. I do not know why an inexperienced person like Imran Khan was given the reins of power.
