Political ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’of Congress in Rajasthan

In ‘exit polls’ it was said that ‘Congress will come to power again in Rajasthan’; but actually after the counting of votes, BJP came to power defeating Congress. It has been seen that the tradition of changing power in Rajasthan after every five years has continued in this time as well. From this, it is seen that none of the parties are governing according to the wishes and expectations of the people. It is pointed out that if there was a third viable option for BJP and Congress in the State, perhaps the people there would have given that party a chance too. On the other hand, there is talk in the Congress that the ongoing fight between Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot and Sachin Pilot over the post of Chief Minister and the killing of Kanhaiyya Lal by religious Muslim Jihadis has also led to the loss of Congress in the elections. On the other hand, discussions have started about the possibility of Vasundhara Raje and Diya Kumari becoming the Chief Minister in the State.

It is claimed that BJP benefited from ‘Ladli Bahna’ scheme in Madhya Pradesh

In Madhya Pradesh, the Congress Government was formed after the ruling BJP was defeated in the previous assembly; but after a year and a half, the MLAs rebelled and supported the BJP, and the BJP Government was formed here again. When it was being said that BJP cannot form the Government here again, BJP contested the election here in name of Prime Minister Modi. Modi also sought votes here in his own name. This time BJP did not announce Shivraj Singh Chouhan as the Chief Minister again. It is being said that this is the reason why BJP was able to retain power again. In addition, people are said to have voted for the BJP because of the ‘Ladli Bahna’ scheme of the BJP Government. According to this scheme, every girl under 21 years of age in the State is given Rs 1,000 every month by the Government. It is predicted that Jyotiraditya Shinde will be selected as the Chief Minister in the place of Shivraj Singh Chauhan.

Unexpected victory of BJP in Chhattisgarh

In the previous election in Chhattisgarh, the ruling BJP was defeated and the Congress came to power. While praising the work done by the Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel in the last five years, one is surprised that the Congress Government has gone. Even in the post- poll test, the Congress is seen getting the most seats, while the BJP has won power. The exact reason behind this is now being investigated.

Surprising victory of Congress in Telangana

Since the creation of the state of Telangana in 2014, the Telangana Rashtra Samiti, which is now Bharat Rashtra Samiti (‘BRS’), has been in power in Telangana for the last ten years. It was revealed from the post-poll test that this time its power will go and Congress will come to power. Since Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao was overconfident that he would come back to power, he had started talks with the opposition parties to form a coalition at the national level. This is why he deleted ‘Telangana’ in the name of the party and replaced it with ‘Bharat’; but since the people of the State want a change, it seems that they chose the Congress. As the BJP did not exist much in the State, it could not be an option; but this is also being called as a big thing as BJP has gained lead from one seat to eight seats.

Victory of T Raja Singh Lodh

Pro-Hindutva T Raja Singh

A strong Pro-Hindutva T Raja Singh Lodh has won the MLA election for the third time. He has again won from his Goshamahal constituency in Bhagyanagar. He was suspended from the party for six years by the BJP for allegedly insulting Prophet Mohammad; but a few days before the Assembly election, T Raja Singh Lodh was again taken into the party by BJP.

Defeat of I.N.D.I Alliance

For the past few months, parties opposing the BJP have been uniting to defeat the BJP. They have formed the I.N.D.I Alliance for this; however, in this Assembly election, no influence of this I.N.D.I Alliance was seen anywhere. This alliance has been established for Lok Sabha. Therefore, it is also being said that its effect will not be seen in the State. Although the Congress is the main party in this alliance, it is said that it has not given importance to other parties in its alliance in this election and some political parties have shown this publicly.
