
Washington (USA) – More than 1,200 Israeli civilians lost their lives in an attack orchestrated by Hamas on 7th October. Subsequently, in response to Israel’s efforts to eliminate Hamas terrorists, Muslims worldwide initiated protests against Israel in their respective countries, leading to violence in various locations. American agency called ‘Cygnal’ conducted a survey among American Muslims, revealing that 57.5% of them believe the genocide of Israelis by Hamas was justified. The survey involved 2,020 American Muslim respondents who answered various questions on this matter.
According to the statistics from this survey,
1. The statistics indicate that American Muslims, in alignment with the ‘Islamic Ummah’ concept, believe in supporting fellow Muslims worldwide.
2. A mere 31.9% of American Muslims hold a favourable view of their President Biden, while 44% of Muslims support Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas.
3. In terms of policy recommendations, only 46.8% of surveyed American Muslims believed that Israel’s invasion of Gaza to eradicate Hamas was justified.
