Khalistanis pelt stones at Hindus celebrating Diwali in Canada

Khalistanis on rampage in Canada

Ottawa (Canada) – Anti-Hindu sentiment is increasing by the day in Canada. In Mississauga, Khalistanis pelted stones at Hindus who were celebrating Diwali. They shouted ‘Khalistan Zindabad’ and threw garbage on Hindus’ peaceful Diwali celebrations. A video of this incident has emerged on social media. This is the second year in a row that Khalistanis are harassing Hindus during their Diwali celebrations. The locality where the attack took place is inhabited by Indians. The indifference shown by the Police in this regard is being criticised by the local leaders. The Police have started investigating the matter and said that they will take further action in collaboration with the City Council. Last year also Khalistanis attacked Hindus on Diwali Day.

Even Hindu Temples are facing attacks in Canada

Hindu Temples in Canada are under constant attacks and now, not allowing Hindus to celebrate Diwali, is an example of growing intolerance. Currently, Bharat-Canada relations are strained. In September, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau alleged that Bharat was involved in the killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar. Bharat had dismissed the allegation as baseless.

Editorial Perspective

On one hand, Canada is portraying the willingness to improve relations with Bharat, on the other Canada is turning a blind eye to Khalistanis involved in anti-India activities. Indian Government must teach a lesson to Canada for their double standards.
