Hamas leader’s virtual address at pro-Palestine rally in Kerala organised by Muslim Youth Organisation

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – Muslims in Kerala’s Muslim-majority Malappuram District organised a virtual rally on 27th October to support the terrorist organisation Hamas and Palestine in the war between Israel and Hamas. Hamas leader, Khaled Mashel, addressed this rally. Khaled also raised anti-Hindu slogans in this rally.

Khaled appealed to the Muslims in attendance to extend unconditional support to Hamas terrorists. The Muslims then took an oath to support Hamas. Khaled’s address lasted 7 minutes.

Slogans such as ‘Uproot Bulldozer Hindutva’ were raised in this rally. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath had got the illegal houses of rioters demolished. Hence, he is called ‘Bulldozer Baba’. These slogans were raised against this backdrop.

The rally was organised by the ‘Solidarity Youth Movement’, the youth wing of ‘Jamaat-e-Islami’. In the past, this youth organisation has also taken out rallies in support of Palestine. Criticism started after the video of this rally went viral on social media.

The BJP criticises the Kerala Government

BJP has criticised the Marxist Communist Party Coalition Government in Kerala. Kerala BJP State President K Surendran criticised the rally saying, “Where is Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s Kerala Police ? Hamas leader Khaled Mashel’s virtual address at the Solidarity event in Malappuram is alarming. Under the guise of ‘Save Palestine’, they’re glorifying Hamas, a terrorist organisation, and its leaders as ‘warriors’. This is unacceptable !”

Editorial Perspectives

  • The Islamic organisation in Kerala, which invited a leader of the terrorist organisation Hamas to address a virtual rally, should be banned. Such a disease should be eliminated now itself.
  • The Union Government should also investigate how the Kerala Government granted permission for such a rally.
