Islamic State terrorist arrested in Kerala

Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala – National Investigation Agency (NIA) has busted a module of ‘Islamic State’ terrorists in Kerala and arrested a terrorist named Nabeel Ahmed. He was recruiting terrorists for ‘Islamic State’ in Kerala through Telegram App. He had created a group called ‘Pet Lovers’ on the Telegram App. He had planned to loot temples in Trichur and Palakkad Districts to fund terrorists.

Nabeel Ahmed was in contact with Islamic State terrorists in Qatar. With the help of these terrorists, he had used all his resources to create a terrorists’ network in Kerala. NIA said that there would be more arrests in this case. Earlier, NIA had arrested Trichur resident Ashraf, who had looted money to be able participate in ‘Islamic State’. It was found that his group was involved in gold smuggling in Kerala.
