Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Lambert Pushparaj (65) has been arrested for raping a 10-year-old dyslexic girl studying at a Secondary School in Varthur.
On 3rd August, the victim went to school as usual at 8.30 a.m. Lambert took the girl to his residence situated on the school premises and raped her. Lambert threatened to kill the girl as soon as she started crying. He gave the girl a cake to eat and told her to do the same every day. Her mother noticed bleeding from the girl’s private parts when she returned home. When the parents inquired in this regard, the girl narrated the incident. The girl’s mother then filed a complaint with Varthur Police Station. Under the POCSO Act, Lambert was arrested by the Police.
