BSP MP Raises objections to Bharat Mata Ki Jai slogan in Amroha, UP

Lucknow (UP) – During the virtual inauguration of Amrut Bharat Station scheme, a Government initiative in Amroha, a BJP MLC Dr Harisingh Dhillon proclaimed a slogan of “Bharat Mata Ki Jai”. BSP MP raised objections to this act of Dhillon which stirred-up a ruckus between the BSP and BJP party workers present at the event. Situation worsened and came under control only after the intervention of Government officials.

On 6th August, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Amroha railway station through an online programme as part of the Amrut Bharat Station scheme. Danish Ali remarked that this is not solely a BJP event. Prime Minister Narendra Modi dedicated this railway station to the nation, not just to BJP. Therefore, party slogans shouldn’t be chanted during this programme. (How is ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ a slogan of the BJP party ? It’s a slogan embraced by every patriotic Indian. Danish Ali is attempting to justify his narrow-mindedness through his explanation.)

Dr Dhillon said that we have the right to chant ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’. Any objection to this will not be accepted.

• Why do individuals who are bothered by the ‘Bharat Mata Ki Jai’ slogan reside in Bharat ? How can those who don’t feel anything about the country contribute to its progress or even think of sacrificing for it ? We need to stringently punish those who oppose this, to discourage any anti-national actions in the future. Individuals like these should face legal action and harsh penalties.

• What contributions toward national interests can be expected from a BSP that is filled with individuals like Ali ?

• Please note that Danish Ali, who objects slogans of Bharat Mata, doesn’t give a hoot about the Jihadists proclaiming to make India a Islamic country.
