Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan spews venom

Thiruvananthapuram (Kerala) – “The secular and democratic society in the country must realise that Sangh Parivar (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) agenda turned Manipur into a riot zone. Hatred is being sown there by the Sangh Parivar. Christian community is being targeted in Manipur under the guise of riot. Churches of the Christian tribal community are being attacked”, stated Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan of CPI(M)-led coalition Government in Kerala.
Chief Minister Vijayan further said that, “shocking news has been emerging from Manipur every day. Visuals of the early days of violence have come out now. The women of the Christian Kuki community have been treated in the most despicable and inhuman manner by the violent mob. The very people who are duty-bound to restore peace in Manipur are trying to incite the violence. Hence Union Government’s silence and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s agenda is now being exposed. To defeat attempts against communal polarisation is the responsibility of all those who believe in democracy.”
Horrifying accounts of violence from #Manipur have shattered the conscience of every Indian. The ongoing strife in the state is caused by the vicious agenda of fueling communal tensions. All secular & democratic forces should demand the restoration of peace & normalcy in Manipur.
