Teaser of ‘The Battle Story of Somnath’ released

Picturises the battle during Ghazni’s invasion of Somnath temple 

Mumbai – The teaser of the Hindi film ‘The Battle Story of Somnath’ has been released. The film portrays the events of the war, during the invasion of the Somnath temple by Muhammad of Ghazni. It depicts the restoration of this temple by Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel after Independence. Interestingly, this film will be released in 12 languages. Manish Mishra is the producer and writer of this film and Anup Thapa is the director. The actor’s names and the information about when this film is going to be released is not disclosed yet.

In this film, information about the Shivlinga in the Somnath temple has also been given. During the Satyayug, Deity Chandra made it using gold, while in the Tretayug Ravan made it using copper. It was made from wood by Shrikrushna during the Dwaparyug.
