Case of attempted conversion of 11 minor Hindu children in Odisha

Bhubaneswar (Odisha) – After a news was published about the conversion attempt of 11 minor Hindu children by Canadian citizen Eapen Mohan Kidangalil with the help of 2 other missionaries in Katesinghpur village of Jagatsinghpur, Odisha, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has written a letter to Jagatsinghpur administration to take action against the accused. It has also been ordered that information regarding these children should be presented to the Commission.

When the Vishwa Hindu Parishad activists came to know about the conversion incident, they caught Kidangalil and handed him over to Police. This incident took place on 24th June 2023. Cash, documents, Bible etc. were seized from Kidangalil.
