Minor student raped several times by the maulavi of a madarasa

Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – Maulavi of a madarasa here has been arrested on rape charges. The victim is a minor girl studying in his madarasa. The maulavi, identified as Qari Muhammad Ahmed, raped the victim by drugging her in January 2022 and made obscene videos of her. After that, he raped the victim several times by threatening her that if she opens her mouth, he would kill her family through sorcery. The victim filed a Police complaint on 26th June, as she could not tolerate this torture any further. Police arrested the maulavi on 27th June.
