What is ‘Y’ level security?
There are many categories of security systems in the country. The type of security one should be provided is assessed based on intelligence reports. The security system in the country is divided into 4 phases. In which ‘Z Plus’ security is considered to be the highest. Then there are ‘Z’, ‘Y’ and ‘X’ security systems. Under Y and Y+ Categories, individuals have 11-12 personnel, including 1 or 2 Commandos and Police personnel, guarding them 24/7.
