Do we really have Democracy in India ?

Abraham Lincoln (The 16th President of the United States) said – ‘Democracy is the Government of the people, by the people and for the people’.

Conversely, in the Indian context, Democracy for the Governments of almost all the Parties has meant – ‘Government of the self, by the self and for the self’ !
