Atlanta (US) – In 2021, every third female student in the US had suicidal thoughts. It is a great rise after the year 2019, observed by the US Centre for Disease Control and Prevention.

In the survey of 2021, 60% of girls appear to be depressed or sad. This was the highest number in a decade; this was not due to the Coronavirus. Depression is on the rise in the last decade.

Editorial perspective

Is this the progress achieved by the US based on science ? An individual’s mental strength is not enhanced with education, money, or material pleasures. The Hindu Dharma states that this can be achieved only through spiritual practice.
