1. Types of Personalities
According to Astrology, there are broadly 3 types of personalities.
A. Dynamic nature : Some people are born dynamic, active, ambitious, courageous, have the ability to take initiative, and are physically strong. This is called a dynamic nature in Astrology. A dynamic nature is Rajoguna (Raja component) predominant and is associated with Kriyashakti (Energy of action).
B. Balanced nature : Some people remain steady in one place, strive for high positions, possess authority, have business acumen, and are materialistically well-off. This is called a balanced nature. This is Tamoguna (Tama component) predominant and is associated with Icchashakti (Energy of will).
C. Adaptable nature : Some people are at times dynamic and at times still, reasonable, go deep into the subject, strive for knowledge, have intellectual strength and are detached. This is called an adaptable nature. Adaptable nature is Sattvaguna (Sattva component) predominant and is associated with Jnanshakti (Energy of knowledge).
2. Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s original nature is of the ‘adaptable’ type.
Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale’s original nature is of the adaptable type. Curious, research oriented, cognitive ability, intellectual strength, etc. were His original qualities. In the earlier part of His life, He worked as a Hypnotherapist and conducted innovative research on Hypnotherapy. After realising the limitations of modern medicine, He started studying spiritual science and practicing Spirituality. This shows His curious nature. After the Guru came into His life, He would ask Him many spiritual questions and write down the answers given by the Guru. This shows His yearning for knowledge. Later, by the Guru’s grace He started getting the answers from His subconscious mind. A person who has an adaptable nature yearns to impart knowledge. He started conducting sessions on spiritual practice to make society aware of the importance of Spirituality. He then recorded audios, published Texts and Periodicals on spiritual practice.
A person who has an adaptable nature is detached from Maya (Material world). Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale taught society the appropriate spiritual practice suitable for the current times, by staying away from siddhis (Supernatural powers) and fame. Over 100 seekers have attained Sainthood and thousands of seekers are on their way to attaining Sainthood. This is a unique phenomenon.
We express immense gratitude unto the Lotus feet of Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale who taught us how to live at the spiritual level !
