Darbhanga (Bihar) – The District Administration has given an order stating that Shriram Navami and Chhath Puja festivals having loudspeakers with more than 75 decibels will be banned. Vinod Bansal, the National Spokesperson of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad, tweeted questioning, ‘Why such directions are not given for Azaan and Tazia (processions taken out during Moharram)?

The District Administration has issued orders that permission has been denied for any new processions to be taken out on the occasion of Ramnavami. Immediate action will be taken against those violating these instructions.
