The result of the abrogation of Article 370, which gave special privileges to Kashmir !

Srinagar (J&K) – After the abrogation of Article 370 in 2019, which gave special privileges to Kashmir, 200 Bollywood films and web series were allowed to shoot in the last 2 years. This is a record number for the last 34 years.

1. After the establishment of the ‘Jammu-Kashmir Film Development Council’ in 2021, the obstacles in the shooting of films have been removed.
2. Since the beginning of the 90s, Jihadi terrorism in Kashmir had almost stopped the filming of films. Now that the situation there has improved considerably, South Indian producers and Bollywood producers are also filming there. Also, this has provided jobs to more than 1,000 local artists.
3. The filmmakers are now filming in the traditional locations of Kashmir like Gulmarg, Pahalgam, Dal Sarovar, and Gurez in Bandipora along with Wular, Dudhpathari, Yoshmarg, etc.
