Yogi clarifies that those who come to create nuisance will be taught a lesson
Prayagraj (Uttar Pradesh) – “Those who consider themselves Indians are welcome at the Maha Kumbha. Muslims who believe in the Sanatan tradition feel that their ancestors had converted to Islam under some pressure in the past; but they consider themselves Sanatani. Muslims who associate their gotra with the names of Indian Sages should come to Prayagraj. They should come here and take a traditional bath in the Sangam. There is no objection to such people coming at the Maha Kumbha,” stated Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, clarifying that there is no ban on entry of people with such mentality in the Maha Kumbha region. He made this statement in an interview with Hindi news channel ‘Aaj Tak’. The Chief Minister also clarified that arrangements have been made to ‘dent’ and ‘paint’ (teach a lesson) those who come with the wrong mentality.
