‘Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan’ (TTP) kidnaps 16 Pakistani nuclear scientists

Islamabad (Pakistan) – 16 Pakistani nuclear scientists have been kidnapped by the Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The group has released a video in this regard. In this video, Pakistani scientist Shahbaz is seen pleading with the Government to accept TTP’s demands and make way to free these scientists.

The Taliban leader has said they kidnapped these nuclear scientists not to harm them, but to make Pakistan accept TTP’s demands.

Claims of Uranium robbery

The Taliban have not only kidnapped Pakistani nuclear scientists, but have also robbed a large amount of Uranium from Pakistan’s largest Uranium mine. The Uranium is used to make nuclear bombs.

Editorial Perspective

By doing this, TTP has shamed Pakistan globally. Such weak and careless Pakistan carries out terrorist activities in India but India remains passive, that is why it did not face much harm so far.
