
Prayagraj, 10th January – Uttar Pradesh (UP) Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath inaugurated ‘Kala Kumbha’, the grand exhibition set up in Sector 7 in Kumbha Nagari. Along with it, the exhibition ‘Uttar Pradesh Mandapam’ was also inaugurated by him. CM is presently on a tour of Kumbha Nagari to check the preparations made so far. Local artists presented various types of dances of UP on CM’s arrival. Both these exhibitions will be centres of attraction for devotees. Small models of different religious places in UP including models of the famous temples at Ayodhya, Mathura, Kashi, etc have been prepared and kept on exhibit for people. Similarly, photos and information of these religious places and temples are exhibited in different cells named as ‘Ramayana Circuit’, ‘Mahabharata Circuit’, ‘Krushna Circuit’, etc.

‘Kala Kumbha’ is an exhibition, displaying UP culture through grand pictures and statues; along with the history of organisation of ‘Kumbha Mela’ from 1840 shown through photos of papers from the British regime. Development of different systems gradually offered during ‘Kumbha Mela’ has been depicted.
There are huge galleries set up to display temple culture, painting art, sculptures and music of UP. Symbols of ‘Om’ and ‘Swastik’ have been hung on the ceilings of the galleries and lamps have been connected to them. Huge sculptures depicting the scenes of ‘Samudra-Manthan’ and Goddesses have been erected in the front side of the exhibition. All these exhibitions are set up on more than 5 acres of land.
Adulteration in milk and dairy products will be dealt with on a priority basis!
