Gujarat Govt to issue guidelines on increasing social media and mobile phone usage among school students

Ahmedabad (Gujarat) – In the last few years, the popularity of mobile phones has been increasing among children across the country. This is reducing their ability to study and their interest in sports. For the first time in the country, the BJP Government in Gujarat will issue guidelines to reduce the negative effects of the increasing use of social media and mobile phones among school students.

Primary school students prohibited from using mobile phones

Minister of State for Education Praful Pansheriya told reporters that the aim is to keep children away from mobile phones and bring them to the playground and increase their inclination towards studies. Guidelines will be issued after consulting experts. We had earlier issued an order banning mobile phones for children in primary schools. From now on, this order will be strictly followed.
