Flowers to be showered from helicopters on Sages and devotees during Amrit Snan

Prayagraj – During the Amrit Snan, flowers will be showered from helicopters on the 44 ghats spread across the 12-kilometre Maha Kumbha Mela area by the Uttar Pradesh Government. The administration has arranged for helicopters to facilitate this. The area includes 35 old and 9 newly constructed permanent ghats, where Sages, Saints, and devotees perform the sacred Amrit Snan. This year, more than 10,000 organisations are participating in the Maha Kumbha, leading to an expected significant increase in the number of devotees. The Uttar Pradesh administration estimates that over 40 crore devotees will participate.
