Prayagraj (UP) – After Samajwadi Party leader Swami Prasad Maurya demanded a ban on ‘Shri Ramcharitmanas’, party president Akhilesh Yadav defended him and made him the party’s general secretary despite backlash from the people. This has angered the Sadhus and Saints. The Sadhus and Saints who participated in the Magh Mela here have announced that they will not allow Samajwadi Party leaders to enter their muths (monasteries) and temples.

If you disrespect Hindu scriptures, Mother India and National Anthem and you are being promoted, we will not accept it.
