Hindu Janajagruti Samiti has spearheaded a movement against ‘Halal Jihad’ since 2019

• HJS was the first to come out with a book with comprehensive research and statistics on Halal Jihad.
• HJS organised lectures for business-men, traders and entrepreneurs.
• HJS has been encouraging people to consider buying non-Halal products.
• HJS organised agitations with like-minded organisations so that the Union Government bans ‘Halal Certification’.
• HJS led delegations to meet Government officials and submitted memorandums seeking stoppage of religion-based ‘Halal Certification’.
  HJS organised Online discussions with entrepreneurs and legal experts on ‘Halal Certification’.

As a result, one of the biggest wins for this Hindu unity was when the Union Government dropped the requirement for all export quality meat to be ‘Halal Certified’.
