A jihadi drives a van into LGBTQ community parade in Germany: 1 killed, 16 injured

(‘LGBTQ’ community refers to homosexuals and people who have undergone gender transition)

Berlin (Germany) – An attack took place here on the night of 25 July during the Christopher Street Day Pride, the largest annual event of the LGBTQ community. A person linked to Islamist organisations drove a speeding white van into the crowd near Tiergarten Park in the city centre. At least one person was killed and 16 others were injured. Several of the injured are reportedly in a critical condition. According to the police, a suspect has been identified and police records show that he was already linked to Berlin’s Islamist network.

Following the incident, German Chancellor Friedrich Merz said, “I and Interior Minister Alexander Dobrindt will conduct a thorough investigation into this attack. We will ensure that the guilty receive strict punishment.”
