Statement by Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak Mohanji Bhagwat

(Gen-Z refers to the generation born between 1997 and 2011. At present, this generation is between 15 and 29 years of age.)
Bhagyanagar (Telangana) – Gen-Z is a good generation. They tend to imitate others and are emotional. They do not think with a calm mind. If the people around them appear to be sincere, they are immediately influenced by them, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh’s Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak Mohanji Bhagwat while addressing a programme organised here.
Have compassion for the LGBTQ community ! – Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak
On this occasion, the Param Pujya Sarsanghchalak also spoke about the LGBTQ community (homosexuals, bisexuals and transgender people). He said, “No one can do anything about them; nor can they. They are born that way. Some developed such tendencies later because of their mindset, while others because of physical attraction. They are also human beings and have the right to live. There is a place for them in society. Do not look down upon them. Shikhandi was a king. He went to the battlefield to fight alongside all the warriors. This shows that our society had a place for such people. Instead of creating unnecessary uproar over such matters, the issue should be addressed calmly so that an appropriate arrangement can be made for them and society continues to remain sympathetic towards them.”
