Defence Minister Rajnath Singh strongly criticises Pakistan on Kargil Vijay Diwas

Dras (Ladakh) – India is searching for new avenues of innovation, while Pakistan is searching for routes of infiltration. India is building ships, while Pakistan is engaged in producing terrorists. India is building a startup ecosystem, while Pakistan is building a terrorist ecosystem. India is manufacturing semiconductors, while Pakistan is producing suicide terrorists. In these words, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh strongly criticised Pakistan during the programme held in Dras on the occasion of the 27th Kargil Vijay Diwas.

Rajnath Singh further said that India is known for its space missions, whereas Pakistan is engaged in proxy missions. India is sending satellites into space, while Pakistan continues to send terrorists across the border. India is providing software to the world, whereas Pakistan is providing sleeper cells to the world. India is building data centres, while Pakistan is building radical centres. India is connecting the world through artificial intelligence (AI), whereas Pakistan is connecting terrorism through the hawala network. It is evident that our paths are entirely different. Under such circumstances, if Pakistan attempts to obstruct India’s path to prosperity with its malicious intentions, our armed forces are fully prepared to give it a fitting reply.

There will be no talks with Pakistan

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh made it clear that there would be no talks with Pakistan. He said that if any talks were to take place, they would be only on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir, which is an integral part of India and has been under Pakistan’s illegal occupation.

• The world is well aware of what Pakistan is doing. At the same time, it is equally evident that India has not yet been able to eliminate Pakistan-sponsored terrorism at its roots or destroy the terrorists operating from there.
• No matter how much progress India makes, it remains equally true that even today India's Independence Day and Republic Day have to be celebrated under the shadow of Pakistan-sponsored terrorism.
