Married Hindu woman raped by a religious fanatic in Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh

Another case of ‘Love Jihad’ has come to light in Uttar Pradesh !

Fatehpur (UP) – A Muslim youth identified as Salim abducted a married Hindu woman in Fatehpur and raped her. In the complaint lodged with the Police, it has been alleged that Salim lured the victim into a love trap by introducing himself as Sonu Singh, a Hindu. Police have arrested Salim.

1. According to a news agency report, the victim Hindu woman has married 3 years ago. She also has a 2-year-old son. She was staying at her paternal home due to some dispute with her in-laws. Salim got introduced to the victim using a mobile phone. Salim introduced himself as Sonu Singh.

2. On 14^th December, Salim called the woman someplace. He took her to a house. There, the victim realised that Sonu is in fact, Salim. The victim tried to escape from the house, but Salim held her hostage and raped her.

3. Salim pressed the girl for marriage and conversion. The victim woman’s family lodged a complaint with the Police that she was missing for a few days. The Police started searching for the woman. After raiding several places, the Police finally found the victim. They handed over the woman to her family.
