C. Psychiatrist Dr Lakshmi Vijayakumar believes this is the result of tensions that have emerged as more women in these countries have become educated, employed and economically independent and hence they can’t tolerate if the men oppose them in matters.
D. The dissonance between a patriarchal system at home and an emancipated woman outside of the home causes a lot of anger.
E. Due to the increasing awareness of education, the expectations of women are increasing. Not getting a job equivalent to education is considered to be one of the reasons for causing anger.
