Amritsar (Punjab) – Singer Sidhu Moosewala was murdered on 29th May in Punjab. Goldy Brar, the mastermind behind this murder, was arrested in California, USA, on 20th November. However, the local Police did not inform India of his arrest. Indian intelligence agencies have contacted the US agencies after receiving information about this. In two old cases, Brar has already been served with a ‘Red Corner Notice’. Internationally wanted fugitives are alerted to Police forces worldwide through the Red Corner Notice.

1. At the time of Moosewala’s murder, Goldy Brar lived in Canada. In order to avoid arrest, he fled to Fresno, California. He tried to get political asylum with the help of 2 lawyers.
2. The brother and nephew of notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, who was accused of murdering Moosewala, were also arrested earlier. Sachin was arrested in Azerbaijan, while Anmol was arrested in Dubai.
3. Recently, Pradeep Singh, a Dera Sacha Sauda devotee, was killed in Faridkot, Punjab, under Police protection. Goldy Brar also took responsibility for it.
