The Central Govt should intervene and take responsibility for the pollution in the capital !

Kejriwal, the Chief Minister of Delhi shirking his responsibilities !

New Delhi –  The air quality of India’s capital Delhi is deteriorating day by day. The ruling Aam Aadmi Party Government is currently drawing a lot of flak over this issue. In response to this criticism, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has put the Central Government on notice.

Air pollution and the poor quality of air quality in Dehli are not the only problems of the capital. He said that the Central Government should intervene and take responsibility for the situation.

Kejriwal further stated that this problem is not limited to the states of Punjab and Delhi and that the AAP Government cannot be blamed. He made the above statements at a press conference along with the Chief Minister of Punjab Bhagwant Mann.

Editorial viewpoints

  • Making such statements is a sign that he has no sensitivity towards the suffering of the people !
  • This is just Kejriwal’s attempt to politicise the matter by accusing the Central Government  of not taking any measures to help the people of Delhi from the pollution that they face every year instead of taking radical measures to resolve the situation. The Centre should also pay attention to this issue.
