Petition in the Civil Court of Mathura

Mathura (UP) – A petition has been filed in the Civil Court to shift the Meena Masjid from the site. The petitioner claimed that this mosque has been built on the land of the Keshav Dev temple. The petition will be heard on 26th October. Petitioners’ advocate Deepak Sharma said we have requested the Court to send an officer to the mosque to get factual information.

The petition states that the Mughal emperor Aurangzeb demolished the Temple at Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi and built the Shahi Eidgah Mosque. Later the descendants of Aurangzeb built the Meena Masjid to the east of the Temple. The mosque should be shifted from this place.
