1. Deepak Sharma, the Petitioner’s lawyer said that the Court will hear the matter on 26th October. Many petitions concerning Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi have been filed before this in Mathura’s various Courts. A petitioner has filed a petition requesting that the Shahi Idgah which is built on the site of Shrikrushna’s birthplace, be removed.
2. Dinesh Sharma claims that the petition has been filed to protect the property of Thakur Keshav Deo Maharaj. Thakur Keshav Dev Maharaj owns 13.37 acres of land in Mathura City. The Shrikrushna Janmabhoomi is on this land. Hence the demand of removing the masjid built on the Deities’ Land.
