Huge cash haul worth Rs 4 crore at a drug inspector’s house in Patna, Bihar  

Patna (Bihar) – The Vigilance Department raided the house of drug inspector Jitendra Kumar and confiscated cash worth Rs 4 crore. Raids were carried out simultaneously at 4 places wherein 5 sacks full of cash, land agreement documents, silver and gold ornaments, and 4 luxury cars were confiscated.

Vigilance Department had registered a case against Government employee Jitendra Kumar for accumulating wealth disproportionate to his income. After getting permission from the Court, the action was taken. Dy. Superintendent Surendra Kumar Mauar said on this issue that Jitendra Kumar was accused of being involved in corruption while serving in the Government and complaints were received against him repeatedly.
