Austin (USA) – A shocking report has surfaced about smartphones. A recent study conducted by Sapien Labs in the US state of Texas suggests that smartphone use may be contributing to the deterioration of mental health among young adults. Prior to the Internet, young people between the ages of 15 and 18 used to spend 15-18,000 hours with friends and family by the time they reach the age of 18. That time has now been reduced to 5,000 hours. According to the report, people who use smartphones are more likely to have suicidal thoughts.

Lead researcher Dr Tara Thiagarajan said that the use of smartphones has increased so much that people have forgotten to talk to each other. When people do not meet, they cannot pay attention to a person’s facial expressions, body movements, or emotions, and cannot solve life problems. Due to this, they have extreme thoughts like suicide and are unable to connect with society.

The research gathered data from 34 countries. Research has shown that people have started relying on smartphones since 2010.

The ill-effects of excessive use of modern science ! The science that has been created to facilitate humans and make their lives better has become a curse for them. This is a clear defeat of science. Will those who promote science realise its limitations ?
