Mumbai – The Ministry of Railways has sacked 19 incompetent officers from the service. These include 10 officers holding the post of Joint Secretary. It is said to be the biggest disciplinary action in the history of Indian Railways. Since Ashwini Vaishnav took over as Railway Minister, he has been paying more attention to work discipline.
1. At a meeting of railway officials in Khajuraho, Madhya Pradesh, last month, Ashwini Vaishnav had made it clear that any officer who could not work should retire voluntarily, otherwise he would be fired.
2. Regarding the delay in the Lalitpur-Singrauli railway project, some railway officials did not respond to the suggestions and questions from MP Riti Pathak. Against that background, Vaishnav gave this warning.
3. These officers were terminated under section 56(J)/(I), Rule 48 of Central Civil Services (CCS) Pension Rules, 1972.
IndianRailways https://t.co/XmNWEQxCtO

Congratulations to Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav ! If all the Ministers of the Central and State Governments act in this way, it will not take long for the ‘rule of divine’ to come to the country ! |
