Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar – An outrageous incident has come to light in which a fanatic named Hussein Abu Soydan has sexually assaulted a 43-year-old married Hindu teacher after luring her with false promises of marriage and a high-paying job in Dubai. The fanatic converted the victim by imposing the condition, ‘you will have to adopt Islam if you want to work in Dubai’. Besides this, he has absconded after extracting Rs 3.41 lakhs in cash and 6 tolas of gold from her. A case has been registered against him at Pundalik Nagar Police Station in this context and it is learnt that he has fled to to Dubai.

A colleague only set the trap of ‘Love Jihad’!

The victim was teaching in a school. In June 2024, she got introduced to Hussein who also taught in the same school. They later became friends. Hussein began luring her into his trap from November-December 2025. He charmed her with words such as, “I like you. Divorce your husband and live with me,” and lured her with the promise of a job in Dubai. On January 4, 2026 he took her to a hotel in Nirala Bazar area assaulted her sexually.

The Accused’s Criminal Background and Financial Loot!

Claiming that he was in financial difficulty, he called the woman to restaurants in the Vedant Nagar and CIDCO areas between January and April and extracted Rs 3.41 lakh from her in cash and through online transfers. Claiming that initial expenses would have to be incurred for travelling abroad and obtaining a passport, he took six tolas of gold from the woman at a restaurant in Nirala Bazar on April 20. In early April, after the victim’s husband came to know about the matter, she had to leave her home. The accused arranged a rented house for her in the Garkheda area and extracted another Rs 50,000 from her for purchasing household items.

On the 19th of April the accused staged a drama of marriage by playing ‘Mangalashtake’ on You-tube and exchanging garlands; However, immediately thereafter, he showed his true colours, telling her, “If you wish to come to Dubai for a job, you will have to accept Islam,” and forced the Hindu teacher to recite the Kalma (declarations praising Allah) and converted her.

Complaint Lodged with Police After Realizing She Had Been Cheated!

From April 25 onwards, the accused began avoiding contact with the woman and gave evasive replies whenever she asked him about marriage. Ultimately, when his mobile phone number was found to be completely switched off from June 1, the woman realized that she had been cheated.

The victim had earlier lodged a complaint; however, at that time, the accused had taken a conciliatory stand. Since he did not act as agreed, the woman has now filed a fresh detailed complaint with the police, in which she has specifically mentioned the conversion (jihadi activities). The police are carrying out further investigation into this serious case.
