Haridwar (Uttarakhand) – An incident has come to light in which Muslims have offered Namaz at the ashram of Chidananda Muni of Nirvani Akhada in Rishikesh. The Saints of Haridwar have thus condemned Chidananda Muni. The Saints held a meeting under the chairmanship of Swami Anand Swaroop, president of Shambhavi Ashram in Haridwar, to criticise Chidananda Muni.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting of the Saints, Swami Anand Swaroop said, ‘The Saints of Haridwar will not forgive Chidananda Muni for polluting the holy Ganga. Calling the actions of such Saints anti-religious, Kali Sena has advised them to be expelled from the Nirvani Akhada’.
Criticising the incident, Vinod Giri Maharaj of Kali Sena said, ‘Kali Sena will not tolerate any person or Saint working against Hindus. Those Saints who insult the Sanatan Dharma and culture will be boycotted and their faces will be blackened’.
