The credibility of such a list is doubtful ! Realise that such a list is drawn up by the United Nations, which is under influence of Western countries that always belittle India !

New York (USA) – The United Nations annually lists the happiest countries in the world. For the fifth year in a row, Finland has been named the happiest country in the world. Finland is followed by Denmark, Iceland, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Sweden, Norway, Israel and New Zealand. Afghanistan ranks 146^th on the list. India ranks 136th in the list and Pakistan is at 121st rank. While compiling the list for 2022, 146 countries have been evaluated. Russia ranks 80th and Ukraine 98^th.

A specific approach was adopted by the United Nations group to compile this list. Citizens’ opinions on corruption, freedom to make positive changes in their lives, longevity, social support, GDP (Gross Domestic Income), satisfaction with living conditions were some of the criteria considered for the rankings.
