Prayagraj, 9 January – On 8 January, all three Akhadas of India collectively entered the Kumbha Mela area. This included Shri Mahants, Acharya Mahamandaleshwars, and Jagadguru Shankaracharyas, as well as Khalsa Akhadas.
“We will offer prayers at the feet of Mother Ganga to elevate Sanatan Dharma to a supreme position in the world. We will also pray for the smooth conduct of this Mela without any obstacles,” stated Pujya Ramkishordas Shastri Maharaj, Shri Mahant of the Digambar Akhada, in a conversation with the Sanatan Prabhat correspondent.
During the Kumbha Mela, efforts to spread awareness about Sanatan Dharma will be carried out through Bhagwat Katha, Ramayan Katha, and various yajnas and rituals.
