Police thrash Hindus !
Eyewitnesses said that Haji Shafiullah led the mob. The situation in the area is tense at present. Therefore, Police security has been maintained in the Temple area. Devotees who came for darshan reported the incident to the Police; however, Police did not take any action, they said.
ISKCON India Vice-President Radharamn Das condemned the incident in a Tweet – ‘It’s a very unfortunate incident on the eve of Dol Yatra & Holi celebrations. Just few days ago, United Nations passed a resolution declaring 15th March as International Day to combat Islamophobia. We are surprised that the same United Nations is mute to the suffering of thousands of helpless Bangladeshi & Pakistani minorities. So many of the Hindu minorities have lost their lives, property, women been raped, but alas, all UN can do is to ponder upon Islamophobia’.
