Saharsa (Bihar) – Two minor girls were abducted and gang-raped by four religious fanatics in Saharsa, Bihar. Following this, an attempt was made to release the accused by imposing a meagre fine of ₹63,000 in Mahua Uttarbadi Panchayat.

Police officer Rehman Ansari had even refused to register a complaint. The incident was reported by local media and social organisations. The accused have been identified as Mohammad Sarfaraz, Mohammad Siraj, Mohammad Shamshad, and Raja.
