Religious fanatics violating the interim order of the Karnataka High Court

Mandya (Karnataka) – Schools and colleges here have commenced from 14th February. Educational institutions were kept closed for 3 days due to rising tension in the State on account of the Hijab Issue.

Karnataka High Court has passed an interim order stating that no one should enter schools and colleges wearing any religious attire. On this background, some Muslim parents had accompanied Muslim girls wearing hijab to the school in Mandya. The school management had refused them entry into the school unless they removed their hijab.

Muslim parents argued with the teacher outside the Rotary School here, but the teacher did not allow the students to enter the school wearing hijab.
