Santa Claus effigy burnt in Agra by supporters of Hindu organisations

Agra (UP) – The supporters of Bajrang Dal and Antarrashtriya Hindu Parishad burnt effigies of Santa Claus outside of St. John’s high school in Agra. Santa Claus is also known as ‘Father Christmas’ or ‘St. Nicholas’.

The regional secretary of Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, Ajju Chauhan said that Christian missionaries initiate conversion activities under the name of Santa Claus and New Year Celebrations. The gifts from Santa Claus are sponsored by these missionaries to attract children to Christianity.

The Rashtriya Bajrang Dal activist Avtar Singh Gill added further that they closely monitor the Christian missionaries who intend forced conversions of Hindus in slums.
