This incident happened not only in Comilla but also in Ramu and Nasirnagar. The motive behind such attacks was to create an atmosphere of anarchy and destabilise the Country.
Our countrymen are not religious fanatics. We have never permitted an environment that fosters terrorism. Hindus, Muslims, Sikhs, and other religions have together faced terrorist attacks. This attack was an attempt to divide the various religious groups in Bangladesh.
