A Beware of so-called Swamis who collect money by misusing bhav and proximity to Sanatan’s seekers, well-wishers and devout Hindus !

Some months ago, a Swami came to Sanatan’s Ashram. Some seekers, well-wishers of Sanatan Sanstha and devout Hindus in the area where this Swami resided went to meet him. Using his acquaintance, this Swami came close to seekers, well-wishers and devout Hindus; and now, he is misusing his proximity to enhance his influence and seeking financial gains. Some incidents that have come to light about this Swami are given ahead.

1. The Swami is organising meetings using his acquaintance with Sanatan’s seekers who meet him for darshan. This Swami provides information on health and Ayurveda in these meetings. He also tells people to sing bhajans and meditate. He tells the spiritually curious, ‘There is no need to chant. If you are unable to chant, just keep quiet’.

2. The Swami tells Sanatan’s seekers, well-wishers and devout Hindus, ‘There is no need to perform spiritual practice as advised by Sanatan’, thus creating negativity about Sanatan’s path of spiritual practice.

3. The Swami tells Sanatan’s seekers to build a house, advising them to perform rituals to pay off debts by instilling fear in them about Divine wrath, moving a coconut around the house as a remedy, etc.

4. Seekers, well-wishers and devout Hindus in his contact are being taken on a pilgrimage to Ashrams and temples in other States.

5. When a seeker’s shop caught fire, this Swami claimed, “I postponed the fire incident. Three people were to die in the fire; but, I stopped it”.

6. The Swami is creating doubts in the minds of the devout Hindus who are working against the Government take-over of temples by saying that it is better for the temples to be under Government control.

7. The Swami is also taking land from seekers in the form of donation.

8. This Swami has formed a ‘WhatsApp’ group of seekers, well-wishers and devout Hindus, through which he is trying to gather more people and make them his followers.

This Swami tries to create his own space by using Sanatan’s identity and get financial gains. If you too have any experience with this Swami, please report it to the address given ahead so that it facilitates in taking legal action against him.
