YSRCP leaders involved in smuggling human hair from Tirupati temple to China !

Accusation by TDP leader Ayyanna Patrudu

Blatant misuse of government power over temples! Such incidents regarding popular Hindu temples are taking place since Andhra’s ruling YSRCP is known to be a Christian sympathiser! Hindus expect central govt. to probe the matter and expose the truth.

Tirupti Temple

Amaravati (AP) – Former minister and a senior TDP leader Ayyanna Patrudu has accused the ruling YSR Congress Party leaders of being involved in illegal trafficking of human hair donated in Tirupati temple to foreign countries like China, Thailand and Myanmar. Assam Rifles, deployed on the Mizoram-Myanmar border, has recently seized smuggled human hair worth nearly Rs. 2 Cr.

Ayanna Patradu

Ayyanna Patrudu said,

  1.  “From this, it was clear how the YSRCP leaders are running a mafia in human hair like the sand, cement and liquor mafia.” Patrudu alleged that the smuggled hair was being transported to Myanmar and was later supposed to be taken to Thailand for processing and then to China. “The processed hair would be used in making wigs meant for trade worldwide,” he claimed. He also demanded an explanation from the Jaganmohan Reddy-led government in the state as to why it failed to curb the hair mafia menace at the highly revered temple.
  2.  “By indulging in such ungodly activities, the YSRCP leaders are launching non-stop attacks on the sentiments of the Hindu devotees. Thousands of pilgrims and devotees from all over the world visit and offer their hair as a symbol of devotion and respect to the Lord. However, the ruling party leaders are resorting to one violation after another to diminish the sanctity of the temple.”

Tirupati temple trust refutes the allegations

Meanwhile, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) trust has called the allegations “baseless and untrue”. TTD Additional Executive Officer AV Dharma Reddy categorically stated that the trust had established a perfect system in storing, processing, handling and transport of hair and that there was no room for any misuse or pilferage or malpractices.
