The need of the time is to foil the conspiracy of vicious appeasement of the minorities !

The appeasement of religious minorities is a conspiracy against the Hindu majority in the guise of secularism. This includes charities, providing scholarship assistance to students of the Muslim, Sikh, Parsi, Buddhist and Christian communities in the field of education. At the same time, it has exposed the Congress party for its pro-Muslim policies which are against the interests of Hindus. This article provides insight into the dangers of pseudo-secularism. Here is why it is essential to foil the vicious conspiracy of appeasement by a ‘secular’ Government.

1. Former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh is responsible for launching Government-sponsored scholarships for the minorities

This charity was hidden in the policy announced by the former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh on 9th Dec 2006. Announcing the policy, he said that ‘Muslims have the first claim over India’s resources’. Soon after this announcement, the Congress Government began enforcing the policy. Before its announcement, the Congress Government had already established the Minority Ministry besides a committee chaired by retired Judge Sachar and necessary provisions had been made.

2. Hindus were oblivious to the potential and detrimental effects of this announcement in the past and future

Despite publishing articles in Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ about the detrimental effects of the steps taken for appeasing the minorities on Hindus, Hindus continue to remain oblivious of this policy. It is difficult to understand why powerful thinkers, journalists, reporters, news channels and newspapers have remained silent on this policy. They should have at least firmly questioned Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, ‘How do you justify your statement about Muslims having the first claim over India’s resources ?’ and ‘After the partition of India in 1947 into Hindustan and Pakistan, why should Muslims have any rights in India ?” They should have asked these questions at that time. However, the imbecile Hindus were so intimidated that they did not ask these critical questions.

3. Awarding Government charities to four other communities along with Muslims was an attempt to isolate Hindus

The Sachar Committee was established to improve the financial situation of Muslim students. Then, what was the motive in adding the four communities – Sikhs, Parsis, Buddhists, and Christians among the minorities that need Government scholarships ? Clearly, it was a wicked plot designed to provoke the followers of these communities against Hindus, so as to isolate them.

4. Hindus are in deep slumber

How can Hindus continue to remain passive despite this terrible conspiracy ? I received an answer to my question through a message on WhatsApp. It showed Kumbhakarna sleeping and a caption, ‘When Kumbhakarna is sleeping in this manner, our Hindu community is also in deep slumber’.

This policy was announced about 14-15 years ago by Dr. Manmohan Singh. The detrimental effects of this policy are clearly visible today. The predominance of minorities is noticeable in the service and business sectors in India. Even women from the minority communities are empowered. They are practising as doctors in hospitals today.

5. Reservations and Atrocities Act should also be revoked along with Government scholarships for the minorities

The consequence of the policy is a repetition of past experience for Hindus, and they should be made aware of it. The articles published in Daily ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ do not answer questions such as ‘How to awaken Hindus who are in deep slumber ?’ However, these articles give detailed information on the crores of Rupees being allocated in the past and also in the present times, in the form of Government-sponsored scholarships to the students of the Muslim community. An attempt has been made through this article to present some related circumstances. It is believed that certain situations can be utilized to awaken Hindus. To launch a vast campaign to revoke reservations, scholarships, charities and Atrocity Act we need to launch a campaign to unite with the neglected communities which are not getting any benefit from the Government scholarships; only a few sections are getting benefits.

6. Reservations benefit only a small percentage of the population

Only a small percentage of Hindu population is getting the benefit of reservations. Campaigns are being launched to extend reservations to other communities also. The benefits of reservations are being availed by some communities that have already become well-off economically and socially over the years. These very communities are now agitating claiming injustice done to them, as per media reports. These benefits have not trickled down to those who are poor and actually require assistance among the reserved communities. If a survey is conducted in this matter, it can reveal the fact that reservations are not benefiting the needy. An article on ‘Hindus employed by Pakistan Government’ revealed that Hindus are employed there only for cleaning or garbage collection. We hope that Hindus in India will be saved from being victimised in this manner.

7. Several tactics used by minority communities to defeat Hindus

The minority communities use various tactics to defeat Hindus. We have seen through newspaper articles that a major effort is being made by the minority communities to defame Hindus. The Christian community has plenty of money besides a sweet tongue to defame Hindus. Other communities have a powerful weapon called the ‘Atrocity Act’ to use against Hindus in the Government sector. This has been explained with examples ahead.

A. Hindu candidates are given poor marks, while candidates of other communities are given highest marks in the recruitment process

The recruitment process consists of a personal interview conducted by a panel of 1 to 5 interviewers. Each interviewer asks 2 questions and each question carries 10 marks. A candidate who is able to answer 2 out of 10 questions correctly should score 20 marks while a candidate who answers 8 out of 10 questions correctly should score 80 marks.

However, Hindu candidates are allotted 20 marks, while candidates of other communities are allotted 80 marks without assigning any weightage to the number of questions answered correctly by a candidate.

If a Hindu interviewer decides to rise above this discrimination, he is made aware of the ‘Atrocity Act’ and threatened of its use. Similar discrimination is also being practised in case of written examinations.

The departmental heads in most offices are people of other communities. Answer papers submitted by the students are manipulated post-examination in these offices by the departmental heads to promote students of their communities by allotting them highest marks and discriminating against the Hindu students (who are given poor marks for their answers). Due to this reason, Hindu candidates score poorly in written examinations too.

B. Secular Government appeasing non-Hindu communities : In the current situation, secular politicians are appeasing non-Hindu communities. This is mainly because the secularists are in agreement with the intent of treating Hindus as scapegoats. The Hindus are oblivious to the dangers of secularism.

In the past, a spirit of unity in diversity was noticed among people in India. However, the reservation system has divided people. Hindus have taken a backseat.

C. Non-Hindu officers are guilty of neglecting their duties for which they are paid handsome salaries : It is the duty of the non-Hindu Government officers to implement the Government schemes. However, such officers do not implement any of these schemes. They are always absent from their offices. When people wish to meet them, they are informed that the officers are working on sites and are unable to meet them. Such officers are responsible for the suicides committed by farmers. These officers process the files only after receiving bribes for services they are meant to provide promptly. The percentage of corrupt officers has increased from 5-10% in the past to over 90% at present. Today, every officer in the chain of processing a document expects a bribe and does not help anyone without taking bribe.

This article covers only a handful of examples of discrimination against the Hindus. However, there is a need to launch a massive campaign to bring about a change in this situation.

Pseudo-secularism : In the Indian context, the term pseudo-secularism is used to pejoratively describe policies considered to involve minority appeasement. The Hindus form the majority religious community in India.

The term ‘pseudo-secular’ implies that those who claim to be ‘secular’ are actually not so, but are anti-Hindu or pro-minority. Religion-based reservations in civil and educational institutions are also evidence of pseudo-secularism.
